DAY 1 : TOUR FROM CASABLANCA TO FES VIA RABAT
Today we departure from Casablanca and drive to Fes passing by Rabat and Meknes. We will explore Casablanca main attractions , then we head to Rabat to visit capital. We continue to Meknes to explore city main sights. On the way to Fes we explore the Roman ruins in Volubilis. Then it’s on to Fes where we’ll arrive in the evening and here you’ll overnight in a traditional Moroccan riad.
DAY 2 : FES GUIDED TOUR AND FREE PROGRAM
Today we will explore Fes in guided tour. The tour includes visiting the medina (the old city) and its alleys. Your visit starts by visiting the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) and the Royal Palace (yard), which is the biggest one in the country. You will be visiting the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque considered the first university in the world . After lunch, in a typical Moroccan restaurant in the Medina, you’ll experience a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Overnight accommodation will be at the local riad with dinner and breakfast.
DAY 3 : FROM FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT
We leave for Midelt through the Mountains and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas. We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. We arrive in Midelt for lunch. At the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert. You will have a camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you will spend the evening in a bivouac (desert camp). There you will enjoy a Berber dinner, and sleep in traditional Nomad camel tent. Enjoy the tour in Morocco with experienced guides and drivers.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR 4X4
Today we visit the Gnawa people – originaly from Mali, Senegal and Sudan- in their village Khamlia , where you will learn about their music and their lifestyle . In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.
DAY 5 : FROM MERZOUGA DESERT TO DADES GORGES
Today we’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the option to hike for an hour within the valley, where you will meet locals and learn about the culture and geography. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, you will continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Our accommodation will be a fancy guest house with dinner and breakfast. Enjoy the tour in Morocco with experienced guides and drivers.
DAY 6 : FROM DADES GORGES TO MARRAKECH
Today we drive through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna -the centre of roses valley ,we continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains.
DAY 7 : FROM MARRAKECH TO OUZOUD WATERFALLS
Today we explore Ouzoud waterfalls. You will also be accompanied by a local English-speaking Moroccan guide and driver who knows the area very well and will be able to answer all your questions. You will have time to have lunch at the falls, and although the cost of the meal is not included, your guide will gladly recommend good local restaurant. Aside from the falls, you will also stop at the ImiIfri Natural Bridge.
DAY 8 : FROM MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA AND BACK
Today we explore Essaouira. It’s easy to see why Essaouira is often dubbed the ‘Jewel of the Atlantic’. This place has earned such a following that Orson Welles filmed Othello here in 1949. Spend the morning touring the fishing port, medina and artistic complex. In the afternoon, you can stroll around this charming town with its age-old souks, fish auctions and blue and white seaside houses. And that’s without even touching on the reams of golden sands on offer
This trip start from Merzouga, and we will drive to explore villages around Erg Chebbi dunes such as Hassi Labied, Merdani, Khamlia , M’fis . On our way to Kamlia we expect to meet locals showing their desert foxes and you may also encounter desert reptiles and mammals. In Khamlia, known as the village of black people who were slaves coming from Sudan,you will be hospitably welcomed with a cup of tea (called Whiskey Berber) while enjoying their spiritual Gnawa music. Leaving Khamlia our next stop is on the panoramic view of golden dunes near the Algerian border. We may stop for a picnic lunch under the shadow of a tree before continuing to visit a Nomad family living under Berber tent. You will be introduced to family members and getting to know about their way of life while enjoying the taste of a nice cup of tea. Then we will have the chance to visit the sites of black volcanic rocks and after that we ’ll reach the panorama near Yasmina lake where you will be amazed with the scene of the dunes in addition to the nearby lake (springtime).
Close to the camp, in erg chebbi dunes of Merzouga, you can enjoy your free time and have fun during your stay the camp with sand boarding activities climbing the high dunes and sliding down? it?s a Sahara desert fun.
This trip (1 Night in desert) begins in the evening, we organize the camel ride for the night in the desert, the camels will be packed with foods, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right in the desert for 1: 20min, we will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, this is a great opportunity to take pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the dunes to see the sunset, it will be a magical night when the sky is bright and shine with intensity. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire, we will spend the night in nomad tents.
This trip begins in evening, we organize the camel ride for the night in desert from a hotel near the sand dunes, The camels will be packed with foods, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert for 1:20min, We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara,this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the dunes to see the sunset ,It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire,we will spend the night in nomad tents ,The next day In the morning after the breakfast in the camp we will ride the camels to visit and lunch with nomad peoples , after relax and lunch with the nomad peoples we will ride the camels backing to the camp, when we reach the camp, we leave the camels and we will take the sand broads and we walk to the dunes , and we walk back to the camp after the sunset,
The Sunset tour begins at around 5:30pm. It takes almost half an hour to reach the sand dunes of Erg chebbi Merzouga riding a camel. Then, we will leave the camels at about 80 meters to reach the highest dune of Merzouga.
